Located along route 618 between Lestovika and Eide, the Lesto Commercial Area offers approximately 40,000 square metres of prime real estate. This site is ideal for businesses seeking direct sea access and deep-water quays, making it an excellent location for maritime industries and logistics. The area also includes temporary facilities for the construction of the tunnel and plans for a marina and fishing harbour.
The Kjøde Commercial Area, situated above route 620, spans around 60,000 square metres. It is designed to accommodate various industrial activities with access to a deep-water quay. The area’s strategic position, combined with its robust infrastructure, makes it a perfect spot for businesses involved in maritime and heavy industry sectors.
This area offers 30,000 square metres of development potential in Moldefjorden. The northern part is envisioned as a destination area with offices, hotels, recreational facilities, and marina services, while the southern part focuses on smaller-scale commercial activities. Moldestad provides approximately 30,000 square metres of space dedicated to marine industries. This area, located adjacent to the Pelagia AS fish processing facility, is planned to include a deep-water quay capable of accommodating container ships. These commercial areas are strategically developed using surplus materials from the Stad Ship Tunnel construction, aligning with circular economy principles and offering a sustainable approach to new business infrastructure.
